• ✓ Magna-Dehra – Mechara road project: (In Oromia state administratin)
• ✓ A number of drill sites along the newly routed road. The Road connects the Arsi area with that of west Harerge. The project involves around five bridges to be constructed across five different rivers which are to be crossed by the proposed road construction. The job involves drilling at the middle of the water where the piers are supposed to be erected and also along the bridge abutments. Due to the jungle nature of the lower reaches of the project, the overall scheme was challenging.

Hydro electric power projects 

• ✓ Rock Mechanics Investigations at Genale Dawa GD3 H.E.Project, MSDi, CGGC
• ✓  ̈ Rock and soil Mechanics tests for Genale Dawa GD3, H.E.Project, off Negele Oromia state Administration, Ethiopia. All laboratory tests were performed by Africonsult Internatinal. The project is being constructed during the current 2014 year.

• ✓ Geotechnical Investigations at Neshe H.E.Project ( FAN) (150MW)
• ✓ - Field Geological and Geotechnical Investigation including drilling and mapping, all the associated laboratory and field tests. · Hydraulic tests . Data analysis, field supervision and monitoring.

• ✓ Hydro electric project along Baro river, but near Gambella. Pre-feasibility and feasibility study for a hydro powr development site along Baro River near Bonga and Gambella. Laboratory testing of soils and rock samples for the project.

High tension high voltage over head power transmission line projects:  

• ✓ Metu Gambella 230 kv power transmission project:
• ✓ line route geotechnical investigations. The job includes site investigation using, Drilling, test pitting, DCP, SPT tests and laboratory testing to determine both the physical and chemical characteristics of the prevailing soils and also water. Engineering analysis, to determine the soil bearing capacity and hence the type of foundation recommended for each tower location. The project involves over 300 tower locations.

• ✓ Gilgel Gibe III to Welata Sodo and Akaki 400kV Power transmission line route geotechnical study
